This coming Sunday, August 2, Grace OPC will be holding its morning worship in the pavilion at the south end of Lions Park in Elburn (500 S. Filmore St, Elburn). The pavilion is located off Stetzer St.). Visitors are welcome to join us.
As you consider whether or not to attend, please note the following:
In accord with recommended health guidelines, we are requiring everyone over the age of 2 to wear a face covering to the service through the opening hymn and whenever we are singing. We recommend that you continue to wear a face covering during the remainder of the service, but we are not requiring that you do so. We plan to sing one hymn at the beginning of the service and one hymn at the end. If you are not able or willing to wear a face covering for this amount of time, we would ask that you refrain from attending.
We will be social distancing households during the service.
The provided seating at the pavilion consists of picnic tables. If you would like to bring your own lawns chairs for seating, you are welcome to do so.
The pavilion has restrooms and they will be open for us on Sunday.
We will have bottled water available.
The parking for the pavilion is primarily on Stetzer street. There is a limited amount of parking just west of the pavilion. We would ask that you please leave this space for persons who are handicapped or for whom walking some distance to the pavilion would present a challenge. Persons can also be dropped off near the pavilion before parking on the street.
Please feel free to contact the church via the email link on this website or by calling (630) 934-5003 if you have questions or for further information.
Thank you,
Pastor Jim Megchelsen
