Jim Megchelsen is now in the midst of his 22nd year as Pastor of Grace OPC. He and his wife Trish moved with their family to the Kane County in the fall of 1997 to begin working with Grace just as it was being established as a congregation. Jim grew up in a Christian home in Southeast Iowa. He met Trish at Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA, where he graduated in 1987 with a degree in Biblical Studies.…
Bryan Holstrom has been a Ruling Elder at Grace OPC since 2004 and also serves on the church’s Board of Trustees. He is a member of the Presbytery of the Midwest’s Candidates & Credentials Committee and a Board member of Mid-America Reformed Seminary in Dyer, Indiana. He and his wife Meredith have four children and live in St. Charles.
David d’Escoto has been blessed to serve as a Ruling Elder at Grace OPC since 2017 and has had the privilege of working in various leadership and ministry roles at past churches and organizations since 2000. David and his wife Kim have been married for 29 years and have six children and one grandchild. In his free time, David enjoys cooking, grilling and reading.
Brandon Kane was raised in a small Iowa town in an unbelieving family. At age 17 he was led to Christ through friends and youth ministries. Soon after, he left for college to Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, Illinois where he met his beautiful bride, Karla. Since graduating from Trinity, he has worked for a Christian organization as a financial software engineer. He and his wife Karla have four young children. He enjoys sports, reading, and software development.
Greg Tews grew up in a household of believers in Tinley Park, Illinois where he attended the Tinley Park Reformed Church of America. He graduated from Trinity Christian College with a Bachelor’s in history and minor in business. Greg and his wife Carolyn moved to Dallas, Texas in 1991 due to a job transfer. Kyle Kendziora has lived in the Dupage/Kane counties all his life. His parents became Christians when he was young, so he spent most of his life in a God fearing home.
