The Session, comprised of the Pastor and Elders, meet to oversee the life and worship of the church. If anyone has a matter to bring before the Session, please contact one of the Elders or the Pastor.

Women gather together from the church and community to study God’s word. This study begins Thursday, January 23, 2020 and continues for 12 consecutive weeks, ending Thursday, April 9, 2020. You do not have to attend every session. We have selected a study guide on Prayer, covering the prayers of Old and New Testament saints. The objectives are to learn how to pray and why we pray–covering the prayers of thanksgiving, repentance, and intercessory concerns. A quote from the study…

Everyone is invited to join Sunday School. Every Sunday from 11:20 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. except the last Sunday of the month. Classes are held for all ages: Adult High School Junior High (age 11 to 13) Grade School (age 8 to 10) Elementary School (age 5 to 7) A nursery is available for babies and toddlers. The adult class meets in fellowship hall. Children’s classes meet in their respective classrooms downstairs.

As an extension of the morning worship, the evening service will not typically repeat all the elements such as a confession of sin, the Lord’s Supper, or a collected offering. Please note, there will be no evening worship service the last Sunday of each month.

The morning service includes hymns, prayer, the Lord’s Supper, an offering, and the reading and preaching of God’s Word. Immediately following morning worship someone is always available to pray with you or for you. Please feel free to come to the front pew by the piano following the service.
Grace OPC leads the evening chapel service for the Master’s Touch Program for Men at Wayside Cross Ministries in Aurora on the 4th Wednesday of every month.
On the last Sunday of the month, bring a dish to share and gather for a fellowship meal following the morning worship service. Weather permitting, the dinner will be held at Lion’s Park in Elburn during May-September.
